Tiago Velho
Lifelong musician, performer, and creator.
With a degree from the Chicago College of the Performing Arts and after spending a period of time as an actor, Tiago migrated to working "behind the curtain". His deep love for music naturally led him to becoming an audio engineer and soon he was mixing bands, designing sound, and writing music for theater, as well as mixing sound for live corporate events.
For the next 15 years, Tiago's career took him all over the world working on large scale corporate & sporting events and live music & theatrical performances.
Tiago has had the opportunity to work as an audio engineer, sound designer, technical director, show-caller, video director, and editor, for high-end, technically demanding shows.
When the pandemic hit, Tiago quickly adapted to the new reality of working online as a streaming technical designer and video editor. He was able to adapt to the streaming and content creation needs of most of our existing clients such as:
Corporate: Abbvie, Toyota, The Kellogg Foundation, US-Japan Council, IBM, ALAS, Riskonnect, Nike, Salesforce and the Yellow Umbrella Foundation.
Creative: Mandolin, Coach, HBO and Netflix.
Together with incredible partners like SiteUnseen, Milk Products Media and Multipitch Productions, we have developed methods to optimize streaming to a variety of platforms and produce broadcast quality streams for corporate clients and well as entertainment.
This was the beginning of SOUND+COLOR. A company dedicated to producing broadcast quality streaming services as well as providing video editing, motion graphics and content creation services.
Valerie Velho
Valerie has been working in and around creative industries for 25 years. With a BFA in Theatre Performance from Roosevelt University (CCPA), Valerie has performed in theatre, film, and commercials for many years. In 2006 Valerie transitioned to working in video production as an associate producer. Today, as a production coordinator & director, her experience has included documentaries, commercials, corporate industrials, music videos, music tours, web content, feature films, television, live corporate events, and post production.
Valerie's every day experience is lived with a global perspective having family, friends, and colleagues all over the world. She has worked with international teams from every continent, managing time zones and cultural sensitivities. With all of her wonderful career building experiences her core knowledge and work ethic is based in customer service.
